Description

I have just received the Puzzle Orbit kit (the MindWave? headset MW003 + the Puzzle Orbit).
I am using an Android Mobile phone:
SPX_8DC Sim Valley
Android: 4.04
Shell:3.0.13
BlueTooth? is enabled and pairing has been set successfully (MindWave? Mobile icon enabled in bluetooth devices list)

With the Puzzle Orbit App (1.4.1): No connection is possible, no signal and timeout occur.

The MindWave? mobile headset is working well on the Windows 7 and the BrainWave? visualizer.

Thanks for your help.

Many thanks for the detailed bug report!

Quick points of clarification:

  • Bluetooth appears to work insofar as Android is concerned, but you're not getting data in the app, correct?
  • Does the green bar appear at all?
  • In four icons, does the second one light up (a small green dot will appear)?
  • Is there any output on the text console under "Advanced" or "Options"?

The MindWave mobile headset is working well on the Windows 7 and the BrainWave visualizer.

  • Would you mind please giving NeuroSky's software a go on your Android device as well?

Yes this is true, there is NO data in the App.

  • Does the green bar appear at all?

The green bar doesn't appear in the Puzzle box app, see the PHOTOS attached which shows clearly the problem

  • In four icons, does the second one light up (a small green dot will appear)?
  • Is there any output on the text console under "Advanced" or "Options"?

In the photo attached you will see that the EEG headset is not found, while it is paired with the bluetooth .

See the five photos attached.
